FRAYSER (BOOTS) CARSON HOLLER , USAF RETIRED





Frayser Carson Holler, 81 years old of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010.


He was born in York County, SC on April 21, 1929 son of Frayser Carson Holler, Sr. and Ruth Holler. He retired from the US Airforce in 1975, he was very active as a Blue Ridge KiwanisClub member, a shriner, an avid golfer, a ham radio operator and a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church, Mr. Holler previously worked as a congressional aid. He enjoyed reading and horticulter, he earned a degree from the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College of GA.


Surviving are his wife, Linda H. Holler, daughter, JoAnn Lawrence, daughter, Angela Holler, son, Timothy Keith Jordan, daughter, Melissa Patton, granddaughter, Brittany Jordan, grandson, Trevor Jordan, grandson, Brandon Jordan, grandson, Kade Jordan, granddaughter, Morgan Patton, granddaughter, Brook Patton, granddaughter, Sadie Patton. he was preceded in death by his father, Frayser Carson Holler, Sr.and his mother, Ruth Holler.


Memorial Service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery of Canton, Georgia on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11:30am with the National Honor Guard presenting. Donations may be made in the memory of Mr. Holler to the North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network at P.O. Box 1249, Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513. The arrangements for this service have been entrusted to the Henry Cochran Cemetery of Blue Ridge, GA. Linda and Family of Boots. I'm saddened to hear of your loss and pray God will comfort you and protect you. Linda, I never knew Boots, but have contact with many in the USAF helicopter family who did and who will all be saddened to know that Boots has taken his final flight. The passing of your husband and best friend leaves you with such a tremendous loss, which I hope that time and the memory of the life you shared together will help ease. Boots was a member of our USAF RotorHeads group (www.rotorheadsrus.us) and we were honored to have him join with us. His service to our country in the USAF helicopter career field is something we all honor and thank him for.
