James Richard Solari, Apr. 5, 1945 - Dec. 12, 2011, Resident of San Jose.

 

Jim passed away peacefully at the age of 66 following complications from CHF.

 

He was born in Oakland but moved to San Jose at an early age. After graduating from Lincoln High School, he proudly served in the Air Force as a helicopter mechanic. He then worked at Almaden Winery for 20 years and last worked at Yellow Cab as a dispatcher.

 

Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Attilio and Erma Jean, and his brother, Joseph. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathleen; daughter, Debra Mejia (Sean); son, David; grandchildren, Marissa and Adam; brother, Michael; nieces, Karen and Elizabeth; nephew, Joey Jr. and many cousins.

 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Sat., Dec. 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Julie's Church, 366 St. Julie Dr., San Jose. Interment will be private.
