Name: | Wayne De Vore devoreshe@aol.com | Entry: | Great Website!
Found it only because I was searching for proof that CH-34's (sorry, I'm Army) were delivered to the Portland Air National Guard Base via C-124 aircraft. How pleased am I to see an actual photo of the delivery. The only reason I knew about these deliveries, is I attended A&P school on the Portland Air Force Base, and watched and heard multiple C-124's taxi to our flight line, each to offload a single CH-34.
Thanks.

Name: | Julie Frederick scobeyborn@gmail.com | Entry: | Found this site while searching for a way to reach Felix McLarney as my father worked with the 304th on the civil side. He had sent my father a patch I found. My dad loved reading the history of the 304th which he lived. I was always enamoured with the helicopters as a little girl. We were able to watch training, etc. Thank you for keeping the site up and running. If at all possible, could you find an email address for Felix and get permission to email it to me? My father would love to get in touch with him, but didn't save the envelop the patch came in. | Date: | July 19, 2017 13:51 | |
