I knew Col Wayne Purser back in 1987. He was my squadron commander at Kunsan AB, ROK in the 8th SPS Stinger Section. A good, fair man who was a credit to the US Air Force. We knew he was a Jolly Green pilot but I just found out that he won the Air Force Cross during the SS Mayaguez incident.

A formidable share, I siplmy given this onto a colleague who was doing somewhat evaluation on this. And he in fact purchased me breakfast as a result of I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I feel strongly about it and love studying more on this topic. If doable, as you grow to be experience, would you mind updating your weblog with more details? It's highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!

Hello, the quote on your homepage wall was actually created by my Grandfather, Oren Hanbaum. He is a deceased POW MIA veteran of the Korean war. We have a hard copy in a picture frame of the quote. His son and grandson also served in Korea, 3 Generations worth. He was a National DAV Officer. He was well respected by all. Every month he attended and participated in a Purple Heart breakfast, since he was a Purple heart reciptant. Every year he attened his POW reunion. My Grandfather was well respected by his peers and a tiny bit of patriotism went with him the day he passed away.
